Can Zoho be used as an ERP for a manufacturing company?
Yes. Many manufacturers use Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books together, with Zoho Creator as the production planning software for steps like BOM and job cards. Zoho has also launched Zoho ERP for India, which is worth a look if you want a Zoho ERP for manufacturing in India. We help you choose the right option for your size and process.
What is the difference between Zoho Inventory and a custom Zoho Creator ERP?
For manufacturing, Zoho Inventory handles stock, purchase and sales orders very well. It handles basic assemblies through composite items (one item made from several items). If you need detailed BOMs, multi-stage production, job work or quality checks, we build those in Zoho Creator and connect them with Inventory and Books.
Can my shop-floor team use it on mobile?
Yes. Zoho Creator apps work on Android and iOS phones and tablets. Supervisors can update production, upload photos and record quality checks from the floor.
Can you move my data from Excel or Tally?
Yes. We help move customers, items, BOMs and opening stock into Zoho. For accounts, we plan the move to Zoho Books with your accountant. See our data migration service.
How long does a manufacturing setup take and what does it cost?

Does it support GST invoices and e-way bills?
Zoho Books supports GST invoicing for India, including e-invoicing and e-way bills. We set these up as per your GST registration.
Do you set up Zoho for manufacturers outside India?
Yes. We work with factories in the UAE, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, the USA, Australia and other countries. All steps, from the factory walkthrough to training, are done online, in your working hours.
Will invoices and tax reports follow my country's rules?
Yes. Zoho Books comes in country editions, for example with VAT filing in the UAE, GST/HST returns in Canada and BAS reports in Australia. We set up the edition for your country and check the tax setup with your accountant.
