Mainland, free zone or both?
Dubai companies are set up on the mainland, in a free zone such as JAFZA, DMCC, Dubai South or Dubai Airport Freezone, or both. Some free zones are Designated Zones for VAT, which changes how VAT applies to goods moved inside them.
Before we set up Zoho Books, we confirm with your accountant which of your companies are mainland, which are in a free zone, and which are in a Designated Zone. If you run more than one company, we set up one Zoho Books organisation for each, and we can link them to one Zoho CRM so sales sees every customer.

How do meetings work between India and Dubai?
Dubai is on Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) all year, with no daylight saving. India is 1.5 hours ahead. Our office day of 10:00 am – 7:00 pm IST is 8:30 am – 5:30 pm in Dubai, so you can reach us during almost all of your working day. We work Monday to Friday; if your team works a different week, we agree call days at the start.
