About the client
Curefit (cult.fit) is based in Karnataka, India. It has four business entities, and each entity has its own employees and its own laptops, software, devices and office assets.
What was the challenge?
Four entities, each with its own staff and assets
Laptops, software, devices and office assets had to be recorded for each entity
Assets could be given only from stock, and had to leave the "available" list once given
Large employee and asset data in Excel and documents was hard to manage
How did we solve it with Zoho?
We built a Zoho Creator HR app for asset management. It manages asset types, tracks their status, assigns assets to staff and keeps employee records, so IT asset tracking in Zoho happens in one place.
Full asset life cycle
- Stages: In stock, Assigned, Return to stock, Buyback, Under repair, End of life, Scrap, Lost and Non-repairable
- A clear record (audit trail) of every change
Bulk upload
- Asset and employee data uploaded in bulk, so less typing by hand
Live dashboards
- Asset count for each status, with a drill-down report for each
- Employee count, assigned and free assets, and active vs exited staff
Reports by entity
- A separate report for each entity
- One button to see all asset details in one place
- Update entity, asset type, state, region and serial number from the active asset report
