The Revenue Management System is built for the Agency to track sales and calculate incoming and outgoing revenue. The application contains modules to enter revenue generated from each client and pull reports for photographer's and agency's amount. System also enables auto calculation of splits between photographer and agency, that can further be extended to pull data from other websites into the application and make it a complete sales and invoicing system.
While recording & Calculating data has always been tough through conventional methods like excel sheets, Calculator, etc, it also does not provide a way to manage the data. It was difficult to calculate the revenue generated. The interface is not very easy to understand for users who aren't much aware of the technologies and data is also at high risk of being released to unauthorized sources. Following are some of the major problems our client faced:
- Calculating Revenue was difficult through conventional method.
- The previous method was time consuming.
- Managing data was cumbersome.
- Gathering details of the clients and photographers were difficult to fetch.
- High Manual dependencies due to improper information passing.
- Lot of manual work on calculations.
- Redundancy of information.
In this form, basic details of photographers are feed in the available fields and on submission, stored in a report. Photographer will have his unique shortcut. And % split of photographer has to enter in this form.
This is the main form of this application, as all the major calculations are being done in this form. This form includes a sub-form as well. In the sub-form calculation part is to be done. Photographer are fetched on the basis of shortcut available in the sub-form(Revenue). On giving any value for the sale price, automatically final sale price, photographer amount andCGIB amount is calculated.
Client's Information- Form
In this form, basic details of a client is stored in the specific fields and reflect in a report of Clients Information form.Here Client No. is auto-incrementing.
The application is highly flexible for future addons and has a greater scope of expansion as the business expands.
- The application is easy to mould and can have fully functional Accounting system inside it.
- In future, for every user, permission would be set and accordingly will show their current values.
- As Zoho creator allows flexibility to be integrated with other zoho products, it can further be integrated with Zoho Books, Zoho Expenses, Zoho CRM, Zoho People etc to provide wide variety of solution that can be maintain in each individual product in synchronization with each other.
- It can also be made available to customer to drop orders online and manage customer enquiries as well.
- SMS can be integrated to send notification to the customer on completion of every job.
- The application can further be expanded to allow Customer to track progress of their orders.
